Need your endnotes AND a Bibliography

Bibliography should be alphabetized by author's name

Homework

The following question needs to be answered in two full paragraphs and in your Unit 10 Homework folder in OneNote by Friday morning. 

Is the idea of economic development inherently Western? If the West (North America and Europe) were not encouraging the "developing world" to "develop," how would people in the regions of the "developing world" think about their own economies? 

Upcoming Exam

The Unit 9 test has been moved to Friday, the 24th, UNLESS you are going to be gone on Friday, in which case you will take it on THURSDAY! If this applies to you, please see me tomorrow so we can set up your testing time/space on Thursday.

Hi guys!

Here is the study guide for Unit 7. If you have it completed by next Tuesday (for all classes!) then I will give you three points back on your test! I will check it Tuesday at the very beginning of class. It is all or nothing, no partial credit!

Cultural Landscape Assignment

For today's homework you need to choose a pilgrimage site, such as Mecca, Vatican City, or the Western Wall, and describe how the act of pilgrimage (in some cases, by millions) alters this place's cultural landscape and environment. You need to write at least two paragraphs about your chosen site and also include at least three pictures that support your perspective of how the cultural landscape is impacted. Be sure to reference not only the site, but the city around it, inhabitants of the city, etc. 

This will be due on Tuesday for all classes except 4th hour (4th hour doesn't meet on Tuesday, it will be due on Wednesday for you all). 

Religion and Politics Homework

For your homework, DUE THIS FRIDAY, you need to read the following four articles and respond the discussion questions. Please put this in your OneNote Unit 7 Homework Folder. It will be collected at the beginning of class on Friday prior to our discussion.

Hi all!

I tried to send this out to everyone via email but it wasn't going through.

Just an FYI, you all will have a quiz next Wednesday (1/14) over the Unit 7 material to date. That includes the Religion and Culture notes, Religion and Diffusion Notes, Five major religions worksheet, and the homework assignment that is due next Monday (7th hour) or Tuesday (everyone else).
